MY PERSONAL THOUGHTS ON PHOTOGRAPHY

Four of my best friends are dead. Blake Baldwin, Jaymee Oliver, Abed Chimidrey and Jaime Meier. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t think about them. This forced me to learn to deal with death at a far younger age than anyone should. I wouldn’t say that I grew up any faster but it made me realize quick was really important. When you realize that it’s these perfect people and perfect moments that make your life what it is. This is why I bought my first camera. I’ll spare you cheesy quotes about love, friendship and capturing moments on my photography site. When I look back on my life, there is nothing that makes me happier than when my favorite moments, people and specs of time were caught in photos. I can look at it now and it takes me back to that moment when pain, suffering, death or life weren’t an issue. We were in the moment. Knowing now what I know, I dedicate my life to capturing these details, people and times. If you have an hour, a day, a wedding or a portrait you need recorded in your life I would be happy to capture it. I think that good photography is the most important investment a person can make.
